Are You Ready For a Site Visit?
It is extremely important that the out-of-school care service ensures that all
of their self-study documents are complete and copies are available for
collection and validation as requested. The OSC program is responsible for the
thoroughness of the self- study documents and completion of the Self-study
Guide.
You want to be sure that you are ready when you request a site visit for many
reasons. Once your site visit has been confirmed you cannot cancel the visit
without adequate notice. Requesting a site visit before you are ready can result
in accreditation status being denied. The onus is on the out-of-school care
service to have all of their evidence organized and available for the site
visit. These items need to be completed before requesting a site visit:
-
Completed Surveys
- Completed Policies and
Documents Lists
-
Completed Observation Checklists
-
Completed QEP
- All
Consent Forms
-
