Can pokerus spread
This is quite a common question. Yes, Pokerus can spread. There are two ways this can occur and they are both rare, as with many things in life.First, if you come into contact with another person that has the infection, you may catch it. This is rare as only certain individuals are more likely to catch the disease than others.Second, through direct contact, such as sharing equipment or mouth guards. This can be more likely if you share equipment or mouth guards with someone who has the infection.
Is there a downside to Pokerus?
In short, yes! There is a downside to pokerus, but it is not necessarily a bad thing. It simply has some negative effects on the body that make it more likely for the disease to develop. The following are some of the effects of pokerus that are more likely to develop:- Increased rate of infection in other parts of your body- Increased health issues from bad or compromised immune systems- Chronic pain or inflammation from ongoing problems with your bones and joints- Reduced bone density and bone growth rates- Chronic fatigue due to lowered energy levels- Mood swings, anger outbursts, and/or depression due to changes in hormones- Sore throat and/or fever due to alterations in your immune system’s ability to fight infections.
How long is Pokerus contagious?
The duration of Pokerus can vary a lot between Pokemon and also due to different circumstances. Some Pokemon can get it for 2-3 weeks but other Pokemon could be infected for 1-2 months. In your case, it is hard to say how long did you get pokerus in your game but I would guess around 2 or 3 weeks. Not every Pokemon could catch it but only weaker ones like Zubat, Golbat and Croagunk (I hope).
Why is Pokerus not spreading?
Because it’s not a real-life thing. It only occurs in video games.
