The World Series of Poker, also known as the WSOP is a series of poker tournaments run annually by the Las Vegas-based poker company, Poker Players Alliance (PPA). The poker tournament, which began in 1946 and is recognized as the world’s longest-running sporting event, currently has over 800 buy-in events that take place at over 140 venues in 89 cities around the world.The WSOP is held at a variety of different poker tables that feature five card stud, Texas Hold ’em, and Omaha Hi-Lo. Buyers can compete for a variety of prizes and awards that include cash, WSOP bracelets, airfare vouchers to Las Vegas, hotels and more.The general WSOP starts in June of each year with events taking place in June 2013 through July 2014. The following year players can compete in May through June 2015. And last year saw events taking place throughout May 2016 through July 2017.The organization has had 76 bracelet winners at the WSOP to date with the most recent coming at the June 2016 Main Event when David DocKleins Leslie took home the gold bracelet that elevates his overall earnings on the circuit to $1,050,337.

How much does it cost to enter WSOP 2022?

The WSOP costs $10 to enter and you can buy into a freeroll or buy into a tournament and try to win. There are also satellites you can enter to qualify for larger events like the $10,000 Main Event.The entry fee things changes regularly but as of writing this it’s $10 for a Main Event seat and $75 for a Championship Side Table seat and $40 for Championship Row Seats. I think you can buy into the $3,000 High Roller event for $100,000 if you want to play that.Finally there are side events like Razz, Big O, and Shootout you can play for smaller prizes (usually from $100-$2,000) as well, with buy-ins starting at around $1,000. The total prize pool for all of these events is about $12 million.
